Vintage heart shaped Abalone earrings stamped with Alpaca Mexico mark
Each earrings measures approx. 22 mm length, 22 mm width and 2 mm depth
These beautiful Mexican earrings were made using a metal alloy known as Alpaca silver. Alpaca silver doesn’t contain any silver, it is made from copper, nickel, zinc and iron. Some call it German silver or Nickel silver. Those with extreme Nickel allergies should avoid wearing Alpaca Silver Jewellery just to be safe, but generally Alpaca Silver is usually quite innocuous. Although I have replaced the earring hooks on this pair, with 925 Sterling Silver wire.
These beautiful Abalone earrings are in pre-loved vintage condition. Which means it has been loved and worn by someone before, so you might see some signs of age and wear.
